What about COVID-19?

Funny you should ask, but COVID in the DR is non-existent compared to the U.S., especially the states where people refuse to get vaccinated. Please take a look at the two recent charts from the New York Times. There are 2.6 cases per 100,000 people in the DR, and 283 cases per 100K in Miami. Where would you rather be?

Also, everything we do in Cabarete is outside - eating, dancing, surfing, walking, running - you name it. You may enter the country unvaccinated, and get a free vaccine in El Batey (5 min from Cabarete) for free, as a walk-in. Masks are required in all the stores and other business offices.
